OneLiner v12 displays this error message when the OLR file being opened contains transformer data records with winding configurations that the program is not designed to handle. We were made aware of this problem when debugging a user's data file that hanged the program. The cause turned out to be a transformer with the letter 'z', which means zigzag, as the configuration of the secondary winding. OneLiner failed to process this transformer because it expected the zigzag winding to be the first winding in a zigzag-wye or zigzag-delta transformer. This error could not have been introduced by OneLiner's transformer dialog box. We suspect a data conversion program written by one of our competitors was the culprit.
To avoid this problem, OneLiner v12 checks the configuration of each transformer automatically when you open a data file. It takes a transformers out-of-service when an invalid winding configuration is found.
This automatic check was not performed in OneLiner v11 and earlier. For this reason some users may have these anomalies in their data file for sometime and are not aware of them until now.
You need to fix the transformer data if you see this warning in version 12. When you open the dialog box of a transformer that has an invalid winding configuration, OneLiner will display the legacy dialog box with radio buttons for winding "config in use" and "in test". Instead of changing the winding configurations in this dialog box, we recommend you delete the old transformer and create it anew.
